Secure, Accessible Hangars in Immokalee

Hangar One is "Don's Hangar."   Images shown are as completed by Compass Construction.  Over the next few months Hangar 1 will become a special place for those who want a nicer environment.

Hangar One is 100 x 100 with an 80 x 21 aircraft door.   The door is from Higher Power - recognized as the best in the industry.  The aircraft storage area of Hangar One will be air conditioned.   The structure was built with additional insulation to support that feature.   A total of 4 independent A/C units plus large ceiling fans will maintain a comfortable and dehumidified environment.   Anyone who has worked on an aircraft or other vehicle in Florida will tell you why that is important.   Its not just the heat - the humidity is the killer.    The air conditioned environment is important for the aircraft themselves.   Your aircraft is a prized possession.  The environment will keep it that way.

The floor in Hangar One will soon be polished and sealed.  That is an extensive process with 7 different grinding / polishing steps, and 3 different sealing steps.  When done the surface will look like polished tile.   The sealed surface means we will not have a dusty environment typical of an unfinished hangar floor.

Hangar One will have an office and lounge in a mezzanine.   Tenants will be able to use that area with their guests during pre-flight or parties.   The area will have a kitchenette, refrigerator, and ice.   An executive level bathroom and shower will be on the first floor.  

Hangar One tenants will have access to a tool and parts storage area on the first floor under the mezzanine.  Hangar One will have multiple webcams with cloud recording available to tenants.  Check on your baby at any time.   Internet and wifi will be supplied.   Tenants may keep keep their tools and aircraft parts in the hangar.  Tenants may keep a vehicle in the hangar when the aircraft is not present. This is not a typical community aircraft arrangement.

Approximately 3 tenant aircraft will "live" in Hangar One along with Don's Citation Mustang.   If tenants are larger aircraft that number may be reduced.   With 10,000 sq ft of floor space that is a lot of separation.   Hangar One tenants will value the separation and environment.  

Hangar One clients will have a 12 month lease at $3,000 per month based on aircraft the size of Citation CJ or smaller.   The rate for larger aircraft is proportional.  Short term rental or ownership shares are not planned.    We will deliberately keep the number of tenants small.   Tenants will have a key with full time access to the facility.  We will know each other which is important with aircraft sharing space.
